Milestone route walk
The Milestone Route guides you through the history and rich heritage of the city of Tongeren. The route consists of 3 hikes that connect to each other: red, blue and green loop.​
This way, you can explore the historic city centre, the city outskirts and even connect to the heritage walk ‘’Hidden Treasures Beukenberg‘’ of the Regional Landscape Hesbaye and Voeren.
Haspengouw by bicycle
Tongeren is a vibrant city with a fascinating history, surrounded by rolling hills, vast fields and orchards.​
The many kilometres of cycle paths and traffic-free roads invite you to discover this mature landscape by bike.

These suggestion routes lead you along the most beautiful spots of Haspengouw. Getting lost is impossible thanks to the well-known blue signs of the cycle route network.
